Average hyd pressure

Is it for a specific tractor? To be safe, get a 4000 psi gauge. You'll probably never come close to that but a good gauge will still read lower pressure. To test a hydrostatic transmission you'd need a higher pressure gauge. Dave

And AC had their 3000psi high pressure setup for a while, which blew everyone away. Literally.

~2500 give or take a bit. Older will generally be less. Newer will range up to 2750 and mabey even 3000 psi...

A pressure gauge is most accurate at the mid
position. Thus a 4000 psi gauge for a 2000 to
3000 psi system!
