Anyone have a Hiniker air drill?

Need help with ours. The seed firmers are rounded on the bottom and don't "firm" too much. This is how it was when we got it. Should they be more flat to help push the seed down? Didn't get a whole bunch of help from Hiniker when I called. Seems like they need a different profile to help catch the bean and place it in the bottom. Right now some get in the bottom and then others are floating around a little. It definitely make for abnormal germination rates. We bought it on a straight toolbar, then moved the units to an old IH folding row cultivator bar. Never seen another one here in NW IN. Especially behind a Kubota. Everyone talks about us that's for sure. Thanks for your help.

I have a good friend. We were best of friends in high school then both worked for Hiniker Co. After I quit he went on to be a service rep for Hiniker Co. He built a warehouse and stocked a lot of Hiniker equip. He is very knowledgeable with Hiniker and I'm sure he can help you out. I'm sorry I don't have his phone # But his address is Greentown, Ind. 46936. Call Hiniker Co. at 507-625-6621 Ask them how to contact there sales rep in Greentown His name is Mark.

That's what I needed, and not too far away from me either. Thanks. The one guy at the factory I talked to said many people pull their seed firmers out. I'm thinking I would like to have there.
