So,

I tol' 'em, the darned Hydro is down, you guys talk it over, I don't care who does it, but some one has gotta feed the cattle this winter.

Darned big guy stepped up to the plate again.

Then, I dove into the belly of the Hydro; but, that's another chapter. :>)

I'm glad you had a spare cab tractor so you could do that, but hope you had some help with switching the loader mounts from one to the other. I have a FH loader like that, and they are great for getting off/on the tractor, but those mounts are another story. I had to do it by myself last time, not real fun, even with good jacks, etc. At least yesterday and today were a little more bearable to be out working on stuff like that. That twenty five below stuff sure does find the weaknesses in things, don't it? I need to replace the seals in the tilt cylinders on my loader. They don't leak a drop on a nice day, but run pretty good in that kind of cold. I hope we have the worst of the winter cold behind us now. Work carefully!!!

You sure have been plagued with problems with those farmalls over the years. Why don't you get a JD 4440 or the like and just set back, listen to the radio and enjoy farming for while.

Never have I seen a JD dealer without a parts department, or a large shop yet. Apparently Deeres require parts too. Mine do anyway.
