da-bees deer story was amusing and reminded me of a Deere-Deer true story from 30 years ago.
My grandfather and friends went out snowmobiling, him on his 1974 JDX8 John Deere snowmobile. When they returned home his windshield was broken, his John Deere Suit and Deere Helmet were all bloody. His goggels were smashed, and his face was a mess. A deer attempted to jump over him while riding , took him off, and by the time the deer got away it had kicked the heck out of him. Nothing runs like a Deere!!!
Since then he reduced one to the freezer each hunting season. Accident control.
