Step Down Sherman transmission

Im looking for a new/good used output shaft for a Sherman step down transmission, fitted on my 52 8N.

Methinks this may become a quest due to the age and long past end of Shermen production.Would recomend,posting this on Ford 9/2/8N or Ford Forum on this site(Top of Page)as them are the fellers that would have the best info.

I opened this thinking you were looking for a tank transmission, but I dont have any tank parts laying around either.

Been working on a Sherman tank track today. I really have! It's not on a tank but it's on an old military vehicle and it's a kind of a heavy unganily rascal with a mind of it's own. Whew I'm tired tonight! Jim
