just bought a 420 feed mill wondering if anyone had a oweners manaul for this and any comment on this feed mill good or bad and can i still get parts for this i live in Austin MN. thanks John

I have one that I bought used at an auction sale about 10 years ago. It had abrace rod broken inside the tank that held the vertical auger shield and I repaired that. Also had to replace the springs in the centrifical clutch that controls the feed auger.I kept playing with that until I got it where I could pull the mill with a 35 HP tractor.If the tractor pulls down very much the feed auger would stop until the RPM picked back up. Then You have to stop your feed into that auger or it will over feed again rather quick. I did make a lever to control the unloading door on the tank so as to not over feed the unloading auger. If you over feed the unloading auger you may shear a bolt in underneath in the unloader drive. I only have sheared it once snd I think that was from over feeding. Other than that I have had no problems with mine.
