Bought a 16x16 ft quanset style maintenance tent for a pasture shelter. Usually a 3 or 4 man job to set up but I figured since I"m twice the size I was as a soldier, I could swing it alone. Frame was no biggy, but the 18x25ft canvas I had to hoist up over the frame was no treat. If it wasn't for the wind blowing, I'da never made it. Got everything draped and in place, went to fasten things up and............. I had the canvas upside down. By that time, I only had energy enough to fasten an end curtain and tidy my area up. Got a couple guys coming to help me "flip" the canvas tomorrow. Dam horses better use it and appreciate it alot...

Done venting now.

You need to learn now if it is a 3 man job get 4 to help you or by the time your my age you will be like me and need help carrying a 50 lbs of dog food.

That's why the older you get,the more financially secure you're supposed to be. So you can pay somebody to do these kind of things.

Ain't it the truth. Since my bout with cancer last year I can't even lift 40 lbs. Course I am 78 but I still think I'm 55 and can lift several hundred lbs. Henry

Got a guy my age that usually helps me, just hate to ask. He's kinda henpecked and looks forward to chances to get away from home. I picked him up today and we had everything flipped over and fastened right in a couple hours. Life is good
