What thread is the bronze drain cap on the
bottom left hand side of the 830 radiator ??
Right or Left hand ??

Right hand thread.

Originally, there was a hex-headed steel pipe plug in there with a LONG head.

If you are seeing a "brass cap", someone must have installed a pipe nipple and capped it off at the bottom with a brass pipe cap.

I'm curious... WHY would you even consider it could be LH thread?

Why take a chance and break something by forcing it in the wrong direction in an attempt to remove it. When I observed the 1st 3 threads
from the lower unit down, it almost looks like it's Left handed. Also,some threads ( Int/ext)
located on the bottom of some radiators are
left handed. Having managed a Machine Shop for
a lot of years, I've seen many unordinary things adopted/cobbed together. Thank-You for your Help.
