Well fer phooey!

My brand-spankin'-new 1955 'nure spreader shucked a beater drive coupler, so now I get to drive 200 miles to get another part out of a salvage yard.

Hours and hours on the road and 15 minutes to repair when I get back. Guess today is shot.

But, nobody said this "old iron route" was gonna be easy. :>)

Allan

It would be cheaper to "barn break" the cattle and let them out in the needed fields when they need to go.

Or you could get an old flail mower and mount that on the back hydraulically drivin.

Hope it didn't look quite like that when it broke!
I got to fork off a load once when I blundered into a soft spot right after I started the unloading. Learnt me a lesson that day!

Thet sure looks clean for a manure spreader. You could use it for a "tailgate party" (grin).

Too clean, can't be a manure spreader.

Last fall I had 2/3 load in a v-box spreader that has sides about 8ft. high when the auger broke. I got it just about as clean before I dove in to weld it.

Fer sure,

This is what it looked like "before" that awful "BANG" noise.

Guess I found an old bale core in the middle of the 'shut' pile. :>)
