Eating soy beans from below

I saw in some of the threads below about some of you guys talking about eating soy beans out of the combine bins. My experience with soybeans are they are very bitter until roasted. How does that work from the bin - are there varieties that can be ate without roasting? When I worked in a feed mill in the 70's the owner was buying soybeans and roasting them. We were eating those straight from the bin after roasting but once in a while we would get one that wasn't roasted and you could tell in an instant.

Really good at 14%-15% at 9% they are like eating golf balls.
And you don't have to worry about the fiber pill in the morning.
