Went to buy some hay for the wife's horse yesterday. Stopped at walmart to get a perscription and ran into a guy I know and asked me if I was interested in a tractor that came with a shredder. He didn't know what kind other than a farmall. He told me where it was located. I went and took a look at it, a Farmall Super C and a JD 127 Gyromor. He said he was broke and would like to get $1000 for it. Runs great. I bought it right away. It needs a lot of cosmetics but basically its a good sound tractor. I've known this guy for years and never knew he had it-Mike.

You can paste the links in the browser then just change the numbers 1 through 5 to see the photos - looks nice.

Hope he doesn't come calling and get mad when he gets flush again and wants it back. I had a friend broke friend once who thought I was running a pawn shop. Would have been OK if that had been the original deal, but it wasn't.

Nice buy, Mike! I grew up from about age three up through sixth grade in NM, early on in Gallup and soon after and for the rest in and around Albuquerque and up above to Corrales and Bernalillo. I get back out to visit but not near enough.

Your pictures and some of those Mike in CA posts remind me how much stronger and different the sun is in the southwest. The Farmalls fade either more or just to an entirely different color out there than they do here further to the north and east.

Yeah, there is beutiful mornings and evenings here. The sky is so blue sometimes that its dazzleing. Or at least until the wind starts blowing. Our sun will fade a farmall fast. Deere's are just about as bad.-Mike

There's been a change by Kim & Chris on how pics are posted. For a long time you could only post one picture using the "Optional Image URL", but now you can use that for posting 2 or more image url's (pictures) using the Optional Image URL.

You just use a comma after jpg,

Don't use any of these < > or any other punctuation Here's an example:

Keep your picture size this same size as they will post quickly. You can't screw up so don't be afraid to try it. Hal

Yep! My last trip out was a couple of years ago to a ranch down in Grant County, bordering on the Gila Wilderness. My girlfiend had never seen a sunset sky like that. Bein' the sort I am, I had to work to keep it to myself, but it thrilled my heart to see again what I took for granted as a kid, and her reaction to it was plenty reminder of just how special it is.

Whereabouts in the state are you?
