Ended that feild with 172 bu average, moisture was down to 19.8 yesterday, feild average test weight was 56.2. That was 3rd year corn. Very happy for my light soil and low rainfall we had theis early summer. Way more corn that I ever expected. That was 92 day YGCB. Contracts are filled. Now I need to search for the best market for the rest of my corn as it is all non GMO and down to 19% or less. Test's weight's SHOULD average 55, but cant count the kernals before their in a box! I took in a load this morning that sat on the wagons 20 hours, it was a wet spot planted late & froze off, wanted it out before taking the corn head off. They tested it at 25.9%, I was amazed, they musta hit the hopperful I put on from the other field. Shoulda been a lot wetter than that. Don't think I found anything under 25% yet.
