Preparing to paint a 1949 SC Case. It appears that the tractor is all the same color with the exception of the back rims. Is this correct? What color of Case paint is recommended for the SC Case.

I farmed with an SC Case back in the 1960's and in it's original factory color there was no"Black Rims" Excepting for the MFG. of the Generator and Distributor the entire tractor was Flambeau Orange. Rear rims were aluminum color and the front rims were orange.I don't remember an Eagle decal any where on the tractor. The Case on the radiator was outlined in black.J.I.Case decals on the hood and SC on side of the radiator shroud, both sides.Numerous safety and information decals elsewhere on the tractor. It was a good medium size machine.

gen and starter are black, air cleaner was F. Red or black, I have seen them both ways, rear rims are silver and NO eagle decal is used on the SC. PPG Shopline urethane is nice paint to spray and weathers well, PPG # is 71282
