2N Air Cleaner

How do I get new air cleaner fillers in the 2N air cleaner? One end looks as if it should come off, but having no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

I do this without removing the hood.

Remove the oil cup at the bottom of the air cleaner.

Tehn, you have to remove the entire air cleaner assembly which takes a little bit of maneuvering. Try not to bend the choke rod.

Once you have the air cleaner off, you might find a circular piece of foam rubber arond the top and you should remove that and clean it.

There is a nut at the top of the air cleaner that will allow you to take off the top and get inside the air cleaner to clean it. I go right after it with the parts washer. Brake parts cleaner followed by compresses air works good too.

Reinstall, clean the cup and add new oil to the mark and put the cup back on.

Thanks to Dave 2N for responding with help. I have removed the bottom cup from the 2N air cleaner. The mesh filters can be seen from the bottom of the air cleaner, but I can't find a way to get them out and new ones in. The top of the air cleaner has a cup with the tube that extends above the hood permanently attached. That cup and tube came off as one piece after removing the clamp. I cannot see the filters or get inside the air cleaner from the top. Should the bottom of the air cleaner come off? Still needing help!
