While spending gobs of money may not guarantee a team a championship, it sure the heck improves their chances of winning one. Otherwise these richer ballclubs wouldn`t be doing it.Rooting for a small market club can be frustrating ,when all you really are is a farm club for the Yanks,Red Sox,Angels, Dodgers,Mets & Cubs. Sure if these small market teams do everything right, they can win a championship, but their margin for error is much less than it is for the wealthier teams. Again ,I`m NOT saying it guarantees a winner (see Cubs,Mets !) , but the way I see it,for the most part, more money = more wins.Just my opinion.   [Reply]   [No Email]
