I am restoring a Radio Super and need to know the correct color of the red body and the white on the wheels. Knowing how much knowledge exists on this site I thought I would ask some tractor guys who might know. Thanks in advance

if you cannot find the paint codes, stop by your local body shop and see if they can match the color with their paint chips. then you will get a paint code and formula, and have the color custom mixed for you.

Seems every thing is made in China now. Next thing you know they will be making some thing as American as Chevrolets there. Oh wait.

I think the IH white will have a bit too much of "cream" tint to it, although it would still look good.

I'm not sure on the IH 2150 either. It might be too bright?

Maybe the modern "Case-IH" red would be a closer match, and for the white part, just get a spray can of "gloss white" enamel.

Thanks for the replies. I guess the year is 50's by looking at the tires and the zinc colored wheel caps. Decal is white and says radio super but no flyer between the words. Tongue is original style as opposed to the modern truncated football shaped connection to the steering assembly. Condition is rusty on 10 to 15 % of surface. If I can't come up with the correct paint colors then I might paint it IH 2150 and Int Harv. white. Thanks for your interest.

I found the factory web site as suggested and in the FAQ section it said if refurbishing use an outdoor enamel of Fire Engine or Candy Apple red. It also listed a customer service number to call and I will do that tomorrow to try and narrow the color down to one. I didn't call China but I will call Chicago. Thanks again to everyone for their replies and I will let you know what I find.

Don't know the 'correct' paint, but I think IH red and white would look good, and I am an AC fan! LOL

I don't have an answer for you, but would like to see pics. Before, during and after are always fun.

I'll bet someone on this forum can help or tell you where to look.
