How much rain have you had in Oct ?

This has been the wettest Oct I can remember. In SW Ind & SE Ill we've had somewhat over 11". There have been a 5" rain and a couple of 2" rains plus some 1" rains. But it never rained on a Monday during the day. How much have some of you folks had?

I haven't even been keeping track for the whole month. I just know that I dumped out 2.4 after last weekend and 2.6 more today from yesterday for 5 total in a week here in mid Michigan.

Probably close to a foot and a half in northeast Missouri. We had 3.6" yesterday. We've had several 3 and 4 inch rains this month. Mike

I can not say exactly how much but I have only seen one year where we got more and that was in 1986 when we had so much in a short time that I almost didn't get out of my valley because the water was 2 or 3 foot deep on my driveway

Just be glad you do not live in southern Arkansas where they have had over 20 inches this month and 90 inches this year.

Randy, Actually, that was closer to 7+ inches over the week... 2.74 Friday alone. Sixth Lake is over the road again, usually only happens in the spring. (also in central Mich.)

Oct. of what year. None this Oct.or the last 12 Oct"s that I have a recollection of. Matter of fact rain has been very sparse for a long,long time.The Valley of the sun is not noted as a place for abundant rain fall.From my place in Arizona to yours,Happy Halloween 2009.

I quit counting about Sept. 22. I forgot to empty my gauge one day and it was running over the next. Seems it's stayed full since.

About normal in western Washington- 3 or 4 inches, I suspect.
