1949 Massey Pony

I'm finally getting back to working on my old pony, but i got a couple questions after looking at it today.

First, it has the hydraulic setup for lifting cultivators and such, but i have been told this didn't come out until 1950. It all works fairly well, but I need some various little parts to get it to quit leaking.
Second, the starter and ring gear both need replaced. The starter had a broken ear for a long time, but was always just run with the other 2 bolts holding it and it just chewed the heck out of the ring gear. I need both.
Third, the old girl needs seals and gaskets for everywhere. I need engine gaskets and seals, transmission seals and gaskets, finals, etc, etc.
And last, the brakes are junk. They were both full of water when I got the tractor, and have had diesel fuel in them several times as I was working on cleaning out the trans and final drives.

Is there somewhere you guys might know of that I could find decent parts?
Sorry I was a little long winded, but thanks for any help!

just bought the engine gaskets from NAPA.Let me know how you make out on the starter, got one with a broken ear too! bill m.

I also have a 1949 Pony but it has manual lift! When I rebuilt the engine I got my parts from montesequipment.com and have for several of my masseys with the continential motors and have been very satisfied with them!! the brakes you may get relined and as for the seals if you can slavage them they should be able to cross refernce them or measure them to new new seals, have done that many times at my local NAPA!!

I have a couple ponys and a couple of friends have one. Broken starter ears are common. the starter gets over tightened because the ears dont pull down against the bell housing. between all of these, Ive only seen one that hasnt been welded! Some ring gears can be heated with an actelyne torch and removed, flipped over and heated again to reinstalled. N62 engines were common in a lot of industrial equip. Parts should be available. Good luck!
