leaking bandjo fittings on Case PS pump

Posted this on the Case board but thought I'd post here too to get more input.
Put new hoses on PS pump and have had leaks around the banjo fittings that screw into pump. Retorqued them and still leaks even when not running.

Any Ideas? I put new "copper" washers under the fittings (old ones looked like brass).

Thanks.

Did you by chance get them new copper washers from Harbor Freight, Or someplace like Home Depot out of the electrical section? You may find them to be copper plated steel or somehow harder than what you need.
I had the same problem with washers I ordered from Harbor Freight.

You need a real soft copper washer. NAPA may
have them as used for brake fittings.
Have you tried a CASE dealer ?

Try annealing the copper washers. Heat the washer until they change to a very pretty copper color. Then quickly drop in cold water.

I got these from an automotive shop but not sure what application they were for so I don't know (remember) if they're soft or not.

Thanks for the feedback

I've never used brass, but you could try them. Hydraulic brake lines on the front wheels have to be flexible enough so the wheels can turn and they use those banjo fittings with copper washers
to connect the brake lines to the caliphers. Hal
