Farmall touch control

I have installed a home made 3 point hitch on my 1951 Farmall C. I powered the hydraulics from the ports on the side of the touch control hydraulic unit. It works well but under a load I have to engage both the added new control and the original touch control lever making it a two handed operation. Can anyone tell me how to bypass the touch control.

You have to cut the pressure line between the pump and the touch control and plumb the pressure side (from the pump) to your new valve, then plumb the return port on your new valve back to the touch control so the new valve is in SERIES with the touch control.
