Flip over grousers for rear tires

Have you seen anything like this? These wheel accessories bolt to the wheel weight holes in a wheel center running with rear farm tires.

I bought these many years ago at an auction in Canada. I am planning to mount them on my IH W400. Don't be confused by the tractor in the background. It is an IH 650D.

The grousers flip over and run between the tire and the ground. When not in use, they flip back and are stored inside the tire rim. The springs are connected to an over-center cam on each grouser. They maintain the working or stored position.

The wheel accessories are complete but I am missing a few springs. Anybody have a source?

I have a set of something somewhat similar in nature but rather different in the way they function. They were originally mounted on a ferguson tractor and when you loosen the locking bolts the extend as you drive forwards to give increased traction. I'll try and get some pictures sometime. Sam
 
Farm Show video had something similar. Another option for a plowing dual (right side) is to weld angle irons across the face of a dual rim, without the tire. Runs in the furrow, doing nothing, until you start to sink in. Might need it this year.

Our neighbour used similar attachments on his John Deeere G while pulling a two bottom trailer plow in HEAVY clay in the fifties and sixties. Each grouser was secured in either position with a solid pin. I do not recall Janicholson's fears becoming reality...
