Sure love the tractors, trains and mountains part. Wouldn't mind a bit of the global warming here after this past year. Pictures taken last Friday, October 16 at Horseshoe Curve, Altoona, PA.

Thanks for the pics, I was lucky enough to get to Horseshoe Curve about three years ago in the summer, as much as I don"t like it, it looks good in snow.

sweet pictures. I see the big JD and Case tractors go by on the railroad tracks sometimes. But never with a background like that!

About a month ago I drove past a long train filled with armored vehicles of various descriptions painted up for the desert. I didn't count cars, but there were at least 40 train cars in the train. My daughter has been after me to get a cell phone with a camera. At the moment I wished that I had one.

Thanks for the pics. I haven't seen tractors on rail cars in my neck of the woods for years. I live 150 miles from the Deere Waterloo factory and a little over 300 mi. from Moline so all the tractors we get come straight from the factory on trucks.

Do you suppose those tractors in these pics are destined for export, or just to the east coast?Jim

Christopher, I too remember the moment I had to have a cell phone with a camera. There were doing road work around here and the crew had one flagman who was a little short and round Mexican. He had as big of a sombrero as I had ever seen, he had spray painted it orange and put a round of duct tape around it close to the top. Funniest thing I had ever seen in my life and I was stuck looking at him for a good long while and I couldn't stop laughing.
