JD 950 Hydraulics

I have a John Deere Model 950, Serial number 0950S 010151 CH. I need to replace the hydraulic system oil strainer. The referenced part number is CH19172. That strainer is open on both ends and is different dimensionally, length and diameter than the original strainer. The original is open on one end, with the other end being a solid piece of sheet metal. Can anyone provide a good part number for the original strainer?

Where'd you get the part # CH19172... jdparts.com lists that # for tractors 20,001 and up... the tractor serial # you posted is 10,151, so WHY are you in the PC for tractors > 20,000??????

The filter listed for tractors <20,000 is part # CH11309, but (at least in the drawing) is nothing like you describe, either.
