Hydro 186 HELP, please! (Also posted on the Farmall Forum)

Hydro 186 hydro lever works it's way down from the desired speed down to neutral, if given enough time.

Where's the "friction pad" that prevents that?

A quick look at an I&T Manual (doorstop) doesn't answer the question... is it INTERNAL to the "control cam" area at the LH side of the clutch housing/tranny case?

Any and all help appreciated!
