I read the directions for setting up a tractor with mounted plow on this site, can't find the thread. Tried to archieve it but the search engine keeps swithing to combine forum??? What I do remember was, drive tractor up onto a 6-8" block, level the plow side to side, what then??? help gobble

The block thing is OK, but the best option is to have someone drive the tractor while you watch the plow.

The goal is for the plow to run perfectly level while the tractor is in the furrow. That includes fore and aft as well as side to side.

Adjust lift links and top links accordingly until you get it to run level in all directions while plowing at your chosen depth. If you have multiple positions for your top link for draft control choose a hole that allows the draft control to work but does not constantly pick the plow up out of the furrow.
