kubota rtv 900

Good.. Power steering and kubota desiel eng
they use hydro drive rather than belt. Have sold over 600 and have several out with over 2,000 hrs. People who have owned the john deer gator or kw muel have trouble adjusting to the fact that the unit stops when you take your foot off the gas but it really is a good feature you just have to get used to them.

9 gallon fuel tank -- fill it up maybe every 6 weeks and use it everyday, for everything. Had mine 2 years -- I have done all the servicing as per the manual -- part of the 50 hour service calls to change hydraulic fluid and filter -- I would have taken it to the dealer for the first service if I had known the drain plug had loctite on it from the factory, of course it has an aluminum housing and I stripped it out. Went and got a new plug seat welded in and it has been fine.

(quoted from post at 14:06:50 10/14/09) What are the good and bad about a Kubota RTV 900 utility vechile? Thanks Amo
I agree with most of the replies but no one mentioned the "vibration"
I just sold mine because I moved closer to town. It was a real workhorse, but the vibration, on mine, was rediculous.

Got a Mule 610 4x4 yesterday. I looked at the RTV Kubato but for the money and what I was going to do with it the Mule was the best bang for the buck. I drove both of them. I thought the Mule rode a little better.

I'm on a construction job site where we have had up to 20 of them. Construction workers can be brutal on equipment, we have had no major problems. They do have some vibration as mentioned in an earlier post, but you get used to it if you run them enough. We have some with over two thousand hours. Diesel engine, 4wd and a dump bed. No complaints.

A year ago at a club plow day, my JD 70 (7500 lbs, loaded tires and weights) stopped dead in the furrow (coil) pulling a JD 555 3x plow. It would turn over but wouldn"t fire.

Guy was there with a loader on his tractor so he picked up the plow while I turned the tractor engine over long enough to get the plows out of the ground. Another guy"s wife pulled up with a Kubota RTV 900 and proceeded to hook a chain to the front of the 70. I said "No way!" She said "Let"s just try it." And I"m here to tell you, boys, the Kubota RTV 900 pulled that dead JD 70 and plow across some plowed ground and up to the edege of the field, about 200 yards away.

I know--I wouldn"t have believed it either if I hadn"t been there to see it.
