276 versatile hyd valve problem

Has anyone ever had the hyd valve malfunction? Today while loading hay the tilt pedal kind of froze up and the up/down one just does nothing, the pedal moves like always but nothing happens. When I plug the lift hoses into the 3rd set of outlets, the up/down works fine. It feels like something is in the way inside for the tilt lever to move. Any insight would be appreciated, not sure where to start with this one. I have had this thing for 16 or so years and have not had hyd valve problems. Thanks. Bruce

Sounds like a cable issue like the ball end wore out or cable broke. both would not allow it to lift or tilt.

The controls on this unit are mechanical rods with ball joint ends. The one moves fine but something internally isn't happening. The other one has now got some movement like something is blocking it inside. This situation developed at the same time in both valves.
