300 case

I have acquired a 300 case gas tractor with no engine. i have found that it originally came with a g148 engine. i have located a g159 engine that physically looks the same. will this engine fit?

I believe so but you should post on the Case forum on this site to find out for sure.

The 300 used a two bolt starter and the engine you are looking at has a three bolt mount, whether the starter issue can be overcome should be looked at, also the flywheel flange dianmeter MAY be different, you should check that also. mEl
