I was at a guys house not far from me today. He is scrapping some old iron I hate to see go. It was an old very heavy duty Horse drawn wagon.

I never saw the likes of one . The axles looked to be like a 5X7 [Wood ] with Iron brackets cast to the spindles bolted to the ends of the wodden beam / Axle.

Wheels are { just guessing } 40" High and 4 " wide made of steel.

Wood is totally shot but so far all metal is still there, he says.

I'm sorry I cant save it I have no room.

always sad to watch sombodys "junk" or our history dissapear. If nothing else they do make great rock gardens and yard ornimates. I have a horse drawn plow as you enter my front gate and a dump rake part way down my lane. I have a spot for my old ih side delivery rake as soon as it quits on me. They keep a few flowers and rock company but they also remind me of a nicer simpler time.

I did save an early New Ideal $' sickle bar mower.
One of the Members here Had it dated 1903-04.

I was going to make a yard ornament, but Wife said she didn't want that junk in the yard.

So I have her convinced I'm gonna put a Pittman arm on it. [That's all it needs to run], and play in the almost abandoned field beside me with my garden tractor.

Keeps asking me when ? I say when her honey doo list gets short enough.

I hate to see old History go as junk. I have a 9' dump rake in my front yard Was given to me by Grandmother, A hilside plow in side yard, Granding wheel on a stand in back yard, & my Great Grandfathers Anvil at shop. My wife has things that belonged to her great grandparents in the house. ohhhh but are we junk collectors.
