Farmall M an H wheels

I have all F series tractors, not too sure about the Letter series. Will the wheels on a Farmall H interchange with a Farmall M, visa versa? I just bough a M, factory wide front, and found a friend has a nice set of Farmall H steel wheels, can I put these on the M? Thanks.

no, axle is 2 1/2 on H ans 2 3/4 on M

If you mean for the front they probably will.

They might fit but they are thinner, not as strong.

M wide fronts with tie rods in front of axle used the same front wheels as a H, rubber or steel. Think after 1943 or so and later both were up to and used steel wheel # 6694 DC.
