Does anyone know what that is. Weishaar Auctions has it on a sale bill for a farm sale south of Reeder ND on Oct 3. I am going to be out there for the ND early doe reduction season, will have to stop by and see if I need it. Will also attend the sale in New England on the 15th. I want to find out what a high hour 4440 and a 4430 is worth. Steven f/AZ, are you going to be there ?

I'm guessing a V6 truck with ranch hand bumpers. If it has the full replacement bumpers. i'm guessing that truck is a gas hog, and very sluggish.

It is not a truck, it is a loader of some sort. Dad said it was built around a F11 Farmhand. What is a ranch hand "bumper" ?

Hey Everyone,
The Ranch hand was a factory build attempt at a reversed truck under an F10 farm hand loader......I believe Allan has pictures of an F10. The truck had front wheel drive and rear wheel steer. These outfits would go up to 45 mph and just the thing for sweeping hay and stacking......terrific outfit in their day......
Have a good one,
Tom

The ones I saw were the F 10 model loadeer. They might have been ok for sweeping/stackig loose hay. Dont know how they would have worked cleaning feed lots or loading silage. 20mph would have been plenty fast for our hayfields.

The Ranchhand was Farmhand attemp to compete with American Road Machinery's Haymaster self propelled loader. The Haymaster came in two and four wheel drive, rear wheel steer and were powered mostly by IH gas truck engines, allthough some diesels were available. Great for stacking loose hay or 4x8 bales as you can stack 5 hi. both of which I've used a haymaster for.
Buy the Farmhand it's or will be a collectors item.
I don't no of any of the Farmhands being sold in our area but a lot of Haymasters were.

Thanks for the info guys. I will try to buy it but suspect everything is going to go for high $$. It was a good farm year in the area and the oil royalty money starts 10 miles away. Everyone seems to have cash and is willing to spend it.
