Wild boar hunting

Looking for advice on a good place, open to public hunting. Would like to do a father son feral pig hunt. With out spending a lot of money
 
Try Washington DC, probably a lot of people who would chip in and it wouldn't cost much at all.
 
Don't know where you are, but in northern Bourbon County KS, they are overrun by them. A couple of landowners decided to bring some of those creatures here and turn loose on their land so they could have paid hunting expeditions. They did not fence in their land, and now they are everywhere. There are little to no natural predators to keep their population in check, so they have become a nuisance. Could probably knock on any farmer's door and get permission to take as many as you want. That being said, I don't think that there is a season for them here, but you would want to check with the proper authorities to be sure.
 
In Michigan, any hunter with a valid hunting license is allowed to take feral pig. I"d like to see one while hunting deer. Betcha I could put on it"s breaks real fast, even with a lighter caliber deer rifle! Betcha I could find room in my freezer too.

I just happened to ask the local Game Warden about hogs and he put me onto several local farmers and gave me permission to night hunt them too as long as I call him so he does not make a burnt run.

I live near some of the best wild pig hunting in California, as my cousin does in Texas. Sorry to say this but save for a few special lotteries, you can have a good place to hunt pigs, or you can have public access. Pick one. Hawaii is the only place I know of where you have a decent chance to get a hog on public land.
