anyone know where we can buy a used cornhead to fit a j.d. 5830 in westen pa. or easten ohio? thanks

in last weeks Farm&Dairy. 666 cutdown to 4rows, this would be Claas built for Deere. Think it was $4000.

dont know anything about the head or the seller, but we had one worked good. Todd

Do you want head for cutting whole plant silage or earlage (ear only)? How many rows and what width?

it is for the sil, just told me 4 row he does chop up the whole thing. thanks

For whole plant, you do not want a cornhead. Cornhead is what goes usually on a combine for harvesting only the ear. They can also fit on a forage harvester.

You want a row crop head for a forage harvester.
