If you havent seen this movie, it is good.

I have never heard that many swear words out of a senior citizen before.

That car was great, you dont see many of them anymore. The garage was very nice for being in Highland park Mich. (a hell hole in case you dont know) That is a small city inside the city of Detroit, you wouldnt want to go there at night, and just drive through in the daytime with the doors locked. Clint Eastwood reminds me a little bit of my grandfather that just died 3 months ago.

I liked it; I thought it was a good movie.
I know that a lot of PC"ers probably didn"t like it but I thought it was quite realistic.

only saw a small part of it, I had a 72 GT when I was in high school, yellow with black rocker panels and roof with keystones, looked pretty good, had a 351C with headers and a bumpy cam, I blew it up one night and never got another engine for it, sold it to a friend who put in an engine and totally demolished it, I wished many times that I had it back.

I can't think of any Clint Eastwood movies I didn't like.

The one where he co stared with a monkey???

Watched it last week. Great movie. A great example of what kind of men there were in this country, and a dead on example of the two directions our young men are going these days. Sad, but I beleive until they quit the glorification of being a gang banger, more and more troubled youth will choose the path of being aq loser gang banger over working hard and being a man. Recomend to everyone that hasnt seen it, see it. Sure wish the Duke, Eastwood, and a couple others were around for the next 10 years to make movies about what being a real American man is.

The real sad part is that the criminal justice program isnt hard enough on these punks and they become repeat offenders. (maybe lock up the parents for doing such a poor job and not sending the kids to church)

Like you I think it was one of the best movies made in recent history....and I don"t think anybody could have played the role as great as Clint. I think what I liked about it most was that it was so NON PC that it was an honest to goodness "Reality Show" unlike most others that are anything but "real".

I put off seeing it because it was marketed as a geriatric version of Dirty Harry. My wife and I watched it a few weeks ago and I was pleasantly surprised.

Of course, you do have to accept the notion that there is still one white guy living in Highland Park.
