International 430T baler??

Hey folks,
I found a baler I like here and am wondering if any of you have experience with it (found the same one for sale in an American ad). IHC 430T. Think my little 26HP tractor can handle it? Flat ground to work on and only doing max 500 bales each of straw and hay. Also wondering if parts are still available for them in America, being told that they are hard to come by here.

Any advice is appreciated.

I bought a 430 new and it was noithing but trouble. I had more headasches with that baler than any other IH baler I have ever had. If you get this baler, take the twine disks apart and remove the spacers and get new twine end retainer springs. The twine will pull out of the disks and you will have 2 broken bales. The 430 may even have a helper, helper spring on the twine end retainer spring. But on a scale of 1 to 10 (10 being the best) of all the IH balers I have had and I have had several, I would give the 430 a 2.

What IH have been the best for you (hoping you had 422 and smaller)??

I like the IH cause they match my tractor. Not a good reason, but if any good, I'll get one.

I have a 430 wire baler. It looks a bit ruff but is has been an outstanding baler for us. So far the few times i have needed any parts our local case ih dealer has had them or could order them. I use a 90 horse 4020 on mine because thats the smallest tractor I have. I think a 26horse tractor would pull it but mite shake the tractor good if you have heavy wind rows.
