Farmer/friend - fighting for his life

Longtime friend and farmer, apparently passed out in his kitchen yesterday, was barely able to call his son, he's in a bad way with some internal bleeding again, and I am worried to no end, I would like to ask for some of your thoughts and prayers for him and his family. I've known these people for most of my life, and it's been a pleasure to work with him, learn some things about doing crops and run his equipment as he cannot anymore due to this medical situation he is trying to get through. He was doing well with this problem, but had a dizzy spell friday evening, now in ICU awaiting surgery, I know he's in a real bad way, and I can only hope he recovers, 3rd time now with this, a person can only take so much. I thank you, it means an awful lot and I just hope he can get through it.

Will be glad to remember your friend in prayer. My best wishes to him, and to you. I'm sure he will be pleased to know a friend cares so much about his recovery.

Dizzy spells are indicative of internal bleeding, but many people do not know that headaches can mean brain aneurysims.

I really hope to God your friend gets better.

Support from here, Billy--you're one of the most valuable members of this forum, and any friend of yours must be a good person as well. Here's hoping for a full recovery--he at least made it to the hospital in one piece, and that's a HUGE step toward getting him back home again!

Rob, he's dealing with N.A.S.H. from diabetes, his liver is about 10%, he's taken good care of himself as a diabetic, there may have been sometime in his life he did not know he was diabetic, but has always been to the doctor etc. The problem is that the blood circulation, arteries/veins to his liver have been over worked and are failing, 3rd bout of internal bleeding with this scenario. I can't say for sure what may have brought this about again but I've been around helping him as much as possible, and he's taken it easy per doctors orders, just driving and watching over us doing the work he normally does. He was doing well, and had been going in for ongoing treatment of those arteries and veins. Not sure if they stabilized him, can't do surgery as his B.P. was too low. Just kind of a FYI, he's a farmers farmer like so many here, just good to know y'all are out there with some support, thoughts and prayer, kind of a bad situation, every little bit counts, and I can only hope he gets through it again. Thanks to everyone, it means an awful lot :) !

Take care of your friend/neighbor Billy. It is sad to see this happen to people that are so close to us. My deepest prayers are with your friend and family and you also. The big man above will take care of him. Hang in there.
