Bird in a barn

Any body ever have problem with bird in there barn There starting to make my equipment look a little sh!ty I've tried leaving the light on all the time, a radio, an pie pans hung from the tiers I don't think there getting the hint

I have kept them out of a garage with no door by stapling strips of tape pulled form a VHS cartridge along the top. I put one every inch or two and let them hang down a foot or so. so light they move with any kind of air movement, and sparkle in the light. birds haven't gone back on for over 4 years. On a big opening like a barn door, staple to wooden strips and then nail or screw the strips to top of opening rather than standing on ladder to do the stapling.

I put one of them fake OWLS up in the rafters .. it seem to help .... now I see they got them that there heads move and eyes lite up ...

Old CDs, DVDs tied below the rafters can help. Wind moves them, the shine distracts the birds, just the fake owl or bird balloons.

Monofilament fishing line strung between the rafters spooks them away real well. The y do not see it and hit it as they fly. They do not come back for more.

Just a short piece of grass rope on the beam will work. Also works on the edge of a water tank. The birds think it is a snake. I was told a piece of garden hose also works.
