New Floor for Hay Barn

Cut our hay meadow a couple of weeks ago and due to baler problems ended up with unstacked round bales.

We decided to move all the hay out of the hay shed and build up the floor.

Had 10 loads of clay brought in to give us more storage capacity.

Did the best I could with the Ford 2810, but nothing to write home about.

Got about a 5 minute shower just enough to settle the dust.

Got all the round bales we wanted under cover.

Still plan to bring in more loads of clay to build up the North side of the hay shed.

When we built the hay barn, we didn't bring in enough clay to level all the floor. Couldn't stack on the east side due to the slope from the hill.

After 10 loads, all the floor is now level and we can use all of the hay barn instead of about 1/2 to 3/4.

Looks like a very usefull shed you have there. Looks as though you got it done up the way you wanted just in time too.. Nice job! Have a good one.

Nice setup. Had to do a double take at the flat roof. Then I remembered you are in texas not MN.

We had a flat roof on our old shop. I remember as a kid, we left a 5 horse snowblower up there all winter. Because the facade on the front would trap snow, we would blow more snow off the roof then we did off the whole parking lot.

Did you level that pad by eye, or use a laser. looks pretty darned good from the pics.
