I am converting my 53 ford jubilee tractor from 6v to 12v. Using 6v coil with resister. I have 7.29v at coil. With test light, I have power at dist. and at points. and the test light pulses at dist. when cranking. But I have no spark at the plugs. It had points, cond, cap, roter and plug wires that had been on there about 6 months and everything worked fine on 6v, generator system. I have changed points, cond, cap and rotter and even put the coil and coil wire on my VW (6v) and it worked. But I just cant get any spark out of my plug wires? Any thoughts? Thanks
