Got our first frost(northern MN). Had 31 degrees this morning, and it is still august. Goofy weather this year. My poor gardens have struggled all summer and now this-bummer.

We were in the mid 40's at 3am ...

I know I'm not ready for COLD weather.... like you said it's Aug.

Was down talking to the gent who farms the irrigated ground a couple of days ago.

He has a half circle of the prettiest darned beans ya ever saw, but they are a month late due to the wet cold spring.

Just hoping that we can get by this full moon. :>(

Lowest we have had in Eastern NY was in the 50s, higher up there showing 40s. Wont be long and we may get frost. Some years we get in September, and some years not until the end of October. Strange season this year has been.

8:00 AM.Central Arizona,in the Desrt it is 87 degrees,by mid afternoon expect 112 degrees.clear sky,20 mile visability. good day to go Flying.

Just like John, we could use a whisp or two of your frost. We need the moisture bad here, been drier than a popcorn toot this summer so believe it or not we are looking forward to the chance of rain later today. Although I can't say 97 degrees and rain make for a very pleasant day outside!

Posasable scattered frost predicted for us (n/w WI) tonight... hope they are WRONG!! Our corn needs more time!

SM: No frost here in southern Ontario, night time temps keep hanging just below 50F. But it plain feels like fall.

I just said too my good better half, I'm going to have an auction, then head for Costa Rica. She said, "Should I go upstairs and pack." Seriously, there is no need of a retired couple putting up with winter.

No because the chicken littles changed the phrase to "climate change" Now they can be wrong, but still claim to be right. What a bunch of idiots!

Ken,
How far are you from Brush, CO? I bought a JD D about 20 years ago that originally came from Brush, CO.
Just wonderin'

You are absoluly right Hugh. There is no reason to put up with cold winters. We moved from central NE to the south of NM not too far from the Rio Grande.(Las Cruces) I dont have to cut no firewood.shovel no snow or get up in the middle of a cold winters night and check cows.

Might even go to Bali one of these winters.

Keep warm

The USA Today ran an ariticle a few days ago telling that global warming as relevant as ever. (Tuesday I think).

You would think they would wait for another heat wave so at least someone would believe it. I cant imagine they had many takers after the temps this year.

They have been known to be so credible in the past. LOL!

56 degree here in Oklahoma. Got some fourth and fifth cutting Alafafa ready to be cut. Field got split due rain. It does not look good. RAIN forcast for next seven day, Took a half bale to county fair and won Grand Champ Hay.
