I was never there, but back in the 1970's I restored 5 or 6 StandardTwin garden tractors & one Viking and I bought my parts from Ted Mack of American Farm Machinery in Ottertail. I had also bought parts back in 1961 from a man called Yalmer Karvonnen in New York Mills when I rebuilt the engine on the Viking. I should've flew up to
Fargo ND when I was in Chicago in 1978 to visit that area. Ted Mack told me he used 7 cords of wood for heating his home. He said he was about 80 miles from Fargo. Hal

The Western Minnesota Steam Thresher's Reunion is about 60 miles northwest of Ottertail in Rollag, MN. It is a very large show. By a large margin the best I have ever been to.

Lake Region Pioneer Threshermen have their 56th annual show on Sept. 11,12,13th in Dalton, MN. Exit 67 off I-94.
Our featured lines this year are Ford, Ferguson, Massey Harris, & Massey Ferguson.
