versatile 875 steering column

I am in need of a dimmer switch and harness for an 875 versatile tractor. My dealer cant find one and we can't quite figure out what the steering column is from. Maybe part dodge and part gm looks like to me. any help much appreciated Paul

ps tractor is a 1982

I worked for a dealer back then and a lot of those had Oldsmobile columns in them. Some even had an Olds emblem on the steering wheel.

I had an '81 895 - and a Versatile mechanic told me one time it was the same steering column as out of a Corvette.

I can't verify that, but thats what he told me...

Me too, worked for dealer in So. Ill and they had Olds steering wheel, around 1980.
