fuel line

My 1955 Ford 850 has a rubber tube from the fuel shutoff to the carberator. I think this should be metal and, if so ,where can I get this?

Ford/New Holland tractor dealer should be able to get it.

Had to put one on my 960 a few months ago. I always try the local dealer first. They "could" get me one but it was $75. (NO JOKE!) Some of the guys on the ford fourm here told me to try N Complete. Very nice folks to talk to on the phone and they shiped me one in the time it would take to get one from NH. Looks a little differnt. They are home made but was easier to put on than the original I have had to take off a few times to replace shut off valves.

If you can"t find one already made you ought to be able to get a piece of steel tubing (brake line) from a parts house and make your own.
