Telephone poles down here in the valley bring 2 bucks a foot if that helps.

Call local farm supply place and get price of new ones, adjust your price down taking into consideration the age and condition of yours.

dave, i just hate those "make me an offer guys". drive ya nutz. got a guy that hangs around the shop, pig farmer. has a w-9 gas head in an old barn that fell down years ago. he asks me if i want to buy it. sure, i'm interested, what do you want for it? he says make me an offer. sight unseen, and the fact i got to drive 30 miles and dig it out of a fallen down barn, i said, how about 75 dollars. your nutz he says to me. ok, what do you want for it? he says , make me an offer. i told him keep the head. so it will sit another 20 years in a fallen down barn!!!

Not to hijack Pete's post, but let's say you had that head (or widget) and someone wanted to buy it..... How much would you ask??? Sure you know, so why not offer the same? "Those guys" can be on both sides of the fence.... Both trying to make the deal of the century and both thinking the other is a crook........
