Toro zero turn mower

I know this is off topic but I do have a John Deere 2440 so tell me if you have ever owned or do own any Toro zero turn mowers. Do you like/dislike them? I am looking at buying one and was wondering what your guys/girls experience with them has been. Thanks for any input. Looking at the 50 inch cut deck.

I had a TORO Zmaster 150 about 10 years ago, It was a 52inch with a 20hp Kohler command engine. It was a great machine, Only problem I had with it was a hydro pump went bad, $525.00 to fix it. I sold it last summer with 2700 hours on it. Talked to the fella who bougth it this summer, and he said its still going. J

Of course, they're tough machines, but I don't see 7000 bucks going towards it for the simple means of cutting grass faster.

I don't know about the Toro mower but I looked at them along with just about every brand made. I ended up buying a Kabota diesel.
This is the first zero turn mower I have owned and I am not totally satisfied with the Kubota.
(1) It rides really rough
(2) It has a "fixed axle" (many times only three wheels on ground)
(3) If you turn "ZERO" it will pull the grass up!
(4) Grass will eventually build up under the deck if you mow with grass the least bit wet.
From what research I have done and the people I have talked to, these are common problems to nearly all zero turn mowers. I am also aware that some zero turns have articulating front axles and some have suspension
None of these potential problems were revealed before I made my purchase, had they been, I would probably have purchased a regular rider.

I have been around Toros quite a bit. The older ones werent so hot. The new ones are pretty good but take a look at the Brush Hog. They really have a lot of power, ride smooth and give a great cut. Very well built mowers.
