Hey Allan, finally got to listen to "In the Mood". Thoroughly enjoyed it. Thanks! Enjoyed the graphics, too.

How in the world do you find time to farm all that place, maintain and repair your equipment and record music?!

BTW, you have set a precedent. I expect you to post a new song at least once a week.

I second the new song once a week !!

How about "The Baptisim Of Jessi Taylor"

Or, some other down home Country Gospel.

If you make a CD I'd like to buy one. open your midi blog so we can talk.

Hi Murray,

Think she's talking about this tune I recorded out in the garage a few weeks ago.

Hardest part of that rascal was that silly cymbal ride at the beginning. :>)

I used to know this jazz player named Dick Anderson who studied in Chicago. The absolute finest player I've ever known.

Best advice he ever gave me was "Loose that silly 'strum'. God gave ya 10 fingers, use 'em". :>)

Hi. The advice the Jazz player gave to you was right on. However, As a jazz player (Piano) had a trio on the road years ago.I was influenced ( and later ON) I met the best there was. OSCAR PETERSON. I am A self taught player starting at age three. Several years ago I bought a Roland 1500 with a sequencer added on. Made several C.Ds
sent to all My friends. Played the Jazz festival in 91 New orleand. Met Steve Allen who listened to a couple of sets and complemented my ability
And was having several of Harry Conic"s band do a couple sets with me. Did a concert at Ball State U where we were the only trio who got a standing Ovation . Was invited to the concert by The renound plaver/ author/Teacher /John Mehegan.
There is different styles of Jazz, and a lot of so called Jazz is badly labled Jazz. True Jazz is the wonderfull expansion of the music comming from the heart, mind, and filled with emotional
expression. More than 3 chords that become redundant, rethorical and Boring to say the least. muff said. Keep practicing and good luck.
