Ford 3000 Diesel

I have a 3000 diesel,Can anyone tell me how to find out if it's a type 2 or 3 frame,And any help about putting on a frontend loader,Can I use my existing pump??

Yes, you can use the existing pump, but the loader will be s-l-o-w. Type 2 or 3 frame? Sounds like you are looking at a Westendorf loader. I bought one (TA26) for my 4600 a couple years ago. I just tired to find my literature that shows the different frames, but it apparently isn't in the house. I'll try to find it tomorrow.

Yes Sir, That's the brand i'M LOOKING AT ta-160 WITH 2" CYL'S.If it's that slow I'll get a bigger pump if I can.Thanks so much for the info.I'm also restoring it..

If you don't mind me asking, what kind of price does the front end loader cost?

Does it have a bucket or spear?

They're around $2500 With a 48" bucket,I looked around a lot for used but no luck..

I have a 3000 with a loader running off the tractor pump. It's not bad for what I use it for around the property. If I were doing landscaping for a living I would want something a little faster but as it stands it isn't worth the expense and trouble to install a front pump.

Can't help with the frame question the loader was already on mine when I bought it.

Sorry it took so long to find the info... a Ford 3000 is a type 3 frame (and so is the 2000 and 4000SU).
