oil problem

It could be any number of things, but the easiest place to start would be to see if the crankcase breather tube is stopped up. If it is open, you probably have worn out rings.
 
It's worn out, that's what it means.

I don't know anything about where Ford engine breathers are, but if they're on the valve cover, the blow-by coming from excessive piston ring clearance will travel up through the pushrod holes, and out the breather. Or, it could be exhaust coming out of the valve guides.

Probably a combination of everything, but there's only one answer to this question, it's worn out.
