Clark forklift

I know it isn't quite a tractor, but we use it on the farm to fix our tractors.

Anyway, it is a carloader model, can't read the number. Does anybody have a wiring diagram for it? Or a way to get the number to try and get some specs on it? I think it is a 40s or 50s model.

Thanks.

I can't help you but I couldn't resist showing my 4000# Clark with an IH 130 wobble box sickle bar mower. It cuts the sides and the top of the hedge. No, it doesn't get stuck. It does quite well when the counterweight is removed.

What is it that you need to know about the wiring diagram? I may be able to help you because I use to work on forklifts.

Your forklift brings back nightmares. Care to tell everybody here how to put in a new emergency brake on that model? You pull the entire engine.

We have a small electrical problem and when we wiggle the wires the thing works. After sitting for a week it won't work again. We are tired of it and are going to rip out all the wiring and redo it. I have a basic knowledge of how things hook up, but don't know how the coil works into it, how the alternator works into it and exactly where the switch goes. We had planned on looking at the old wire as we took it out, but it is simply 1 large ball of electrical tape on the wire, making it impossible to trace.

email is open.

Thanks.

easiest way to figure it out is to mark where they plug into, then pull the wiring harness and start cutting off the tape. Its not hard to cut off, sometimes you can even unwrap the tape all the way down the harness.
