I well remember Les Paul and Mary Ford recordings in the early to middle 1950's. They did some of the early recording over recordings so that the two of them could do 4 or more part songs. Had a college roomate in grad school with an oscilloscop. He said that there was a vast difference between their recordings and the standard recordings of the day.

Yeah but there are still records(cd's) left that will never die. The greatest guitarist of all was Chet Atkins and he did a dual with Les Paul that was fabulous. Henry
